I have a 2011 Range rover with deployable steps Had to replace the passenger side (British range rover) a while back. Worked fine. Now the passenger side does not deploy but you can hear the motor. I am told by our workshop that the flange that attached the motor to the side steps has broken and the part is lo longer available.. I have the electronic deployable side steps on mine, they look good and seem to impress a lot of people deploying in and out, but would I of specified them from new at a £2700 option, probably not. D300, R-Dynamic, Santorini Black, Black Pack, Fog lights, Heated windscreen, Electronic side steps, 22' alloys 7015, Retractable pan roof, Tints.
